Behind this unique production are the Franks. Frank Castronovo and Frank Falcinelli grew up together in Queens, each sons of immigrant families. Inspired by the cooking of their homes, they both separately pursued careers as chefs, trained at some of the best kitchens in the world, and eventually reconnected to open Frankies 457 Spuntino in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. Now in its 20th year, it is noted as an essential member of the Italian restaurant community in Brooklyn.
