Fabbri Amarena Wild Cherries in Syrup (4 oz)

These luscious and intensely flavorful Amarena cherries are the most sought after all over Europe. These wild cherries, which are local to the region of Emilia-Romagna, are dark red with a sweet and slightly bitter flavor and are preserved in a rich syrup made from the juice of the same fruit. 

Fabbri started out as an Italian liqueur company. Famous for its Amarena cherries, the company soon expanded to alcoholic and non-alcoholic syrups, gelato, and fruit purees.  The Fabbri family has been producing these luxurious wild cherries in syrup since 1905 from the original recipe of the founder Gennaro Fabbri.
